Insurance Reimbursement

Reimbursement
InterX products are accepted by most insurance companies. The amount covered will depend on your individual policy and may vary from company to company. We can submit to your insurance company on your behalf and will need the following information from you in order to do so:

  1. Prescription – the prescription should be from your physician or healthcare practitioner and should state the InterX device required for treatment: For example, InterX 900 and Universal Conductive Garment, or InterX 1000 and Dual Flexible Array Electrodes. Should your physician or healthcare practitioner require additional information about InterX, the following documents can be downloaded:

  2. What Makes InterX Different?

  3. Letter of Medical Necessity ( for Home Therapy Systems or for Single Patient Systems )– this form should be completed by your physician’s office or by your healthcare provider. It will provide information about your condition/injury and confirm the InterX equipment required.
  4. Assignment of Benefits – ( for Home Therapy Systems or for Single Patient Systems )this is the sales agreement between you and NRG and will provide us with the necessary insurance information and allow us to submit your claim to your insurance company on your behalf. Notice of Privacy Practices, DME Supplier Standards and your Patient Bill of Rights referred to in this document can be downloaded from the document list on the left of this page. This document can be completed by you or by an NRG representative who can answer any questions you might have regarding the contents.

Once we have received the above documentation, we will obtain precertification from your insurance company which will provide us with information of the amount likely to be covered by them, based on things like your deductible. We will contact you with this information and advise you of the amount (if any) which will need to be covered by you.

NOTE: Without the proper completion and submission of the necessary documentation we will be unable to submit your claim.

Self Payment Options
We accept most major credit cards and can take your payment over the telephone. Simply provide your prescription and then contact one of our sales team who will be pleased to process your order. Payment plans are available on request.

Please allow 3 business days for standard shipping, priority shipping is available on request for an additional charge. InterX products come with full operations and instructions manuals for use and treatment application and a member of our clinical team will be available should you wish to discuss your personal condition and relevant treatment options for that condition.

InterX devices carry a 30 day money back guarantee which is subject to a 10% restocking fee should the product be returned for any reason. However, InterX Conductive Garments are non-returnable as they are for single patient use only. For warranty information please refer to the operations manual for your chosen product.
