DETAIL - A random controlled group of 60 patients: average age 71; 67% female, 50:50 active; sham group assignment
Patients received a 20 - 30 minute treatment per day for 10 days to supplement routine rehab care. The active group achieved equal or better outcomes after 7 days, compared to the Sham Group.
Conclusion - This RCT provided outcome measurements of VAS pain, Brief Pain Inventory and Physician Assessment which proved to be significantly better (P<.001) in the Active Group. Pain was reduced and ROM restored 30% earlier in the Active Group compared to the Sham Group.
Direct costs as submitted to NRG via a budget document for staffing, testing, treatment and subject compensation are acceptable expenses and will be paid as well as other mutually agreed upon expenses. As a start-up company it is our policy to pay indirect costs up to a maximum rate of 30% or less.
